We want to expand our business go back to our roots as a broker: We are so blessed to be in business for 27 years and feel we’ve learned a few things in the Rag Trade that we would like to share with you. We started our humble beginnings as a one man broker in 1992, brokering used clothing from various graders and exporting them to Africa. Then in 1996, we because graders & today we sort over 8 million lbs of mix rags & credentials and 5 million lbs of paired shoes/year in our LA warehouse, employing 50 people. But due to the prohibitive cost of doing business in California, we have decided not to expand our sorting business and instead, go back to our roots as a broker and export surplus quantities of mix rags & credential clothing that we get each month. We have developed so many great relationships with various thrift stores that this is the perfect business for us to expand into and we have more supply than we can process in our LA warehouse.
